While due diligence and contract audits are essential, some argue that using a cold wallet can add another layer of protection. But can it really prevent a rug pull?

Cold wallets store your private keys offline, making them immune to online hacks and unauthorized withdrawals—but they don’t necessarily stop a fraudulent project from dumping its tokens or disabling liquidity. That said, using a cold wallet during a crypto presale can limit exposure, help avoid fake claiming sites, and ensure you maintain control over your assets.
